Wow it was really HOT today
There was no breeze at all, it was at least 95 degrees all along the bay trail. I lost at least 2 pounds, that has not happened on a ride for at least a year. I did meet a really nice person who was trying to find a way from home to work along the bay trail. I was able to show her a few ways to get to work. I hope I see her again as she was fun to ride and talk with.

Thanks for your help today! Only later did I realize that today was probably one of the worst days to go on my first long bike ride... except for the fact that I was lucky enough to run into you and your expertise! Also, I probably would have been pretty nervous under that second bridge if I didn't have company. I took Industrial and Holly back. I think I freaked out a couple cars as I nervously climbed over the 101 overpass. I felt a little weird in that middle lane.
Happy I was able to help. Hope to see you on the trail again
