It is the end of July

So far this year I have traveled on my bicycle 5067.94 miles.  In the month of July 1058.13 miles.  As you can see for the first part of the year I have been busy riding my mountain bike.  I will attempt to ride 1000 miles a month, well at least until it starts to rain again.  With a bit of luck I will get to 10,000 miles by the end of the year.

July 7th

Although it was foggy this morning it turned out to be a very nice day. So at about 9:30 I headed out on the bay trail for a 45 mile ride. Need to get out of the house by 8:30 so that I can get in at least one 50 plus mile ride this month.
Just downloaded the Google Chrome web browser, it appears to be much faster starting and loading pages than both IE and Firefox. You may wish to check it out

Hope everyone had a nice 4th of July

I had a very relaxing holiday, visited relatives and spent some time reading the book "Magicians" by Lev Grossman.  He also wrote Codex which was an international best seller.  I like Magicians even better than Codex because it is a fantasy novel with some very novel twists.  Hope he writes the second book "Magician King" as I really need to know where the story goes from here.

Nice day for a ride

It is the first time in a very long time that there was no wind. Temperature along the bay trail was in the high 70s maybe even the low 80s.  I felt real sorry for the windsurfers on the bay.  However I have been told by the people at Boardsports School that a breeze of 10 miles an hour is good for teaching beginners. For Jane and Rebecka's sake I hope the class where beginners.  I have not had any time of late to post photographs.  I will try really hard to do that this coming week.

Feeling Better so took a short ride.

The cold/alergy is getting better so I rode the bay trail from my home in Redwood City to the San Mateo Bridge on the Bay Trail. A round trip of about 33.5 miles.  Felt good to be out and about again even if it was very windy.
