It Did Not Snow however...

I had a very nice day, took a bike ride and the weather was nice.  Denise my friend that moved to Colorado was back into town for a few business meetings and she stopped by for a visit.  It was very nice to see her again.

Snow Expected!

The last few days have been sunny but cold.  The weather report for today, tomorrow and Saturday is for very cold and the chance of snow.  I think I know why a friend of mine who moved back to Colorado at the end of last year is coming back for some business meetings and a visit starting today.  The only thing she found about Colorado that she did not really enjoy was the snow and the cold.  Welcome back Denise.  Even though I was prevented from riding each and every day this month because of the rain and possible snow I hit my goal of 600 miles for the month.

After 8 Days of Rain and Snow

The Coffee Shop in Halfmoon bay where we ate lunch
Sue Ali and I took a trip to Halfmoon Bay and had a great time. Sue is my best friend and Ali is one of her dogs.
The Coffee Shop has very good things to eat, you should see the pies and other goodies.

The weather is getting warm again.

It started on Monday and each day it is getting warmer.  It was 70 degrees in San Carlos this afternoon at 3 PM.  Tomorrow should be warmer still.  On the way home from my ride yesterday the bearings in my left peddle failed so today I had new peddles installed.  They sure do not make peddles the way they used to.  The last peddles lasted 26 years, if the new ones last three I will be very surprised.  I like the design of the new peddles and they are very light weight, we will just have to see.  So over time I have replaced, seat, bottom bracket bearings, wheels, peddles.  General maintenance have replaced tires, tubes (more than I like), break pads, water bottle brackets, water bottles, toe clips.  I guess that is not to bad for a bicycle that was built in 1984.
